We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Global Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our global logistics operations.

Your part in Lamor’s journey is to focus on overseeing transportation and distribution operations while managing relationships with third-party service providers and suppliers. This position requires a strategic thinker focused on improving logistics performance and maintaining compliance with international regulations.

Job requirements
Key responsibilities:
Update, implement, and manage global logistics strategies to optimize transportation, inventory management, and distribution channels.
Lead efforts to continuously improve global logistics processes, including cost reduction initiatives and performance optimization.
Oversee end-to-end logistics operations from procurement through to delivery, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company standards.
Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, operations and sales) to forecast demand, optimize delivery timelines, and align logistics activities with business needs.
Negotiate contracts, build and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers, freight carriers, customs brokers, and other service partners.
Ensure compliance with international trade laws, import/export regulations, customs clearance, and other relevant legal requirements.
Manage, support and coordinate the work of global logistics team, ensuring everyone is aligned with logistics goals and performance targets.
Monitor logistics performance, report on key metrics and cost-saving opportunities, manage the logistics budget, and identify areas for cost reduction in transportation and route planning.
Keys to success
The best combination of experience, skills and personal qualities for the position
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics management, with at least 2 years in a global logistics leadership role.
Experience managing international logistics, including customs regulations and cross-border shipments.
Demonstrated success in leading logistics teams and managing vendor relationships.
Ability to cooperate in a global environment
Excellent written and verbal English, proficiency in Finnish.
Experience in leading a global, multi-cultural team
Understanding of global supply chains
